《地震學(xué)雜志》是一本國際期刊，專門研究與地震發(fā)生有關(guān)的所有觀測和理論方面。編輯們將地震學(xué)視為一項廣泛的跨學(xué)科工作，在觀測、建模和應(yīng)用方面具有良好的平衡性。主題包括地震構(gòu)造學(xué)、地震活動性、歷史地震活動性、震源物理學(xué)、強(qiáng)地震動研究、地震危險或風(fēng)險、工程地震學(xué)、斷層系統(tǒng)物理學(xué)、觸發(fā)和誘發(fā)地震活動性、采礦地震學(xué)、火山地震學(xué)、地震預(yù)測、從局部到區(qū)域的結(jié)構(gòu)調(diào)查。全球研究，特別關(guān)注被動實(shí)驗。《地震學(xué)雜志》發(fā)表了簡短的交流和擴(kuò)展的評論文章。

The Journal of Seismology is an international journal specializing in all observational and theoretical aspects related to earthquake occurrence. The editors approach Seismology as a broad interdisciplinary effort, with well balanced observational, modeling and applied aspects.Topics include seismotectonics, seismicity, historical seismicity, seismic source physics, strong ground motion studies, seismic hazard or risk, engineering seismology, physics of fault systems, triggered and induced seismicity, mining seismology, volcano seismology, earthquake prediction, structural investigations ranging from local to regional and global studies with a particular focus on passive experiments.The journal publishes short communications as well as extended review papers.
